Mid-September — What the High Tunnel Is Still Giving Us

The outdoor fields are slowing down, but the high tunnel is doing what it does best — stretching the season. Here's what's happening inside and out at Daughters 5 Farm.

🏕️ Inside the tunnel

Our high tunnel is still producing. Tomatoes are winding down but we're still picking. Carrots are coming along nicely, and the greens (spinach, lettuce, arugula) are looking good for fall harvests.

🥕 What's still available

Carrots, greens, and the last of the tomatoes. Availability changes fast this time of year — text or email us and we'll tell you exactly what's ready.

🫐 Berry season recap

Blueberry and strawberry seasons are wrapped for 2026. Thanks to everyone who picked up berries this year. We're already planning for next year.

🍂 Winding down, not done yet

We'll keep picking and selling as long as the tunnel and weather cooperate. If you're hoping for something specific, reach out sooner rather than later so we can set it aside for you.

🚚 Pickup and delivery

Farm pickup is still available — just message ahead. If you don't have transportation, we can often deliver locally. Text or email and we'll work out a time.

Thanks for sticking with us through another season. The high tunnel lets us keep going a little longer than the open field, and we're grateful for every week of it. Reach out if you want anything — we'd rather it go to you than go to waste.
